CreateUGC Review (2026): Pricing, Free Trial and Who It’s For

We do not currently earn anything from CreateUGC. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details. We ran a short free-trial test of CreateUGC on 2026-10-20 (details in the box below); pricing and feature details still come from CreateUGC’s published plans and documentation.

CreateUGC (createugc.ai) is an AI video tool that turns a product link into a UGC-style ad with an AI avatar, with plans from $19.90 a month billed yearly and a 3-day free trial that covers up to 3 videos. It is built mainly for dropshippers and ecommerce sellers, and it plugs straight into AutoDS.

What we tested (2026-10-20): one video on CreateUGC’s free trial, using the Avatar and Script type. We pasted a 35-word script for a plain water bottle, picked the “Diana at home 3” avatar, kept the default voice and hit Generate. The trial account showed 30 credits and the video cost 4 of them (30 to 26), so the trial covers about 7 videos at that length. It rendered in under 8 minutes as a 9.7-second, 1080×1920 clip with sound and no watermark in the frames we sampled. A transcript matched our script word for word. Our scores out of 5: realism 4, script accuracy 5, ease 5, value 4. We did not score lip-sync frame by frame (we checked stills and the transcript only), and we did not test Product in Hand, the product-link flow or any paid plan.

What we saw in our test

The clip showed a young woman waist-up in front of a bookshelf, with open-palm gestures and mouth shapes that tracked the words. Two flaws: the avatar card was labeled “at home” but the background looked like a library, and the delivery was brisk, 35 words in 9.7 seconds, faster than a natural selfie read. The talking-head mode did not place the product in frame, so the water bottle never appeared. Setup took four steps and about two minutes of clicking, with a 225-character script limit in the box. Next to our same-script runs, Creatify was the only tool that put the product in the avatar’s hand, but its free output is watermarked, and the MakeUGC $1 trial bought a single 720p video. CreateUGC’s trial stretched furthest of the three: about 7 videos, against roughly 5 on Creatify’s 50 credits and 1 on MakeUGC.

CreateUGC vs MakeUGC: not the same tool

These two names get mixed up constantly, including by us until recently. CreateUGC lives at createugc.ai and is tied to AutoDS, the dropshipping platform. MakeUGC lives at makeugc.ai and is a separate company with its own credit-based plans and a $1 trial. If you were looking for MakeUGC, read our MakeUGC review instead.

What CreateUGC does

You paste a product link, pick an AI avatar, a voice and a script tone, and it renders a short vertical video of the avatar reacting to or holding your product. CreateUGC says final videos take about 5 to 15 minutes.

There are three ways to build a video:

  • Product Reaction: the avatar reacts to your product, testimonial style.
  • Product in Hand: the avatar holds and presents the product. This comes in versions powered by Veo 3, Kling and Seedance 2.0, each with its own length options.
  • Avatar and Script: a talking-head video from your script, with no product link needed.

It pulls product details from links on Amazon, AliExpress, Walmart, Etsy, Shopify stores and the other marketplaces AutoDS supports. Voices run on ElevenLabs, and voiceovers are available in 30+ languages on the higher plans. There is a built-in editor for captions and text overlays, and each edit costs one extra video credit.

Scale$39.90$29.90/mo20100+
Max$66.90$49.90/mo501,000+

Product in Hand, custom voices, multi-language voiceovers and AI image generation start on Scale. On Launch, that works out to about $2.69 per video at the monthly price. AutoDS users can add the Scale plan for $39.90 a month through AutoDS billing, but that route has no free trial. Prices are from CreateUGC’s own FAQ as of September 2026. Check the pricing page before you buy.

Is CreateUGC free?

No. There is a 3-day free trial that includes up to 3 videos, whichever limit you hit first. You are charged for your plan on the 4th video or when the trial ends. CreateUGC places a pre-authorization hold for the full plan amount on your card at signup. It says this is a verification hold, not a charge, but plan for it if your card limit is tight.

Is CreateUGC legit?

It is a real product run alongside AutoDS, with published pricing, a documented cancellation flow and in-app support chat. Canceling keeps your plan active until the end of the billing period and does not delete your videos. The refund policy is case by case: CreateUGC says eligibility depends on usage, timing and possible admin fees, so do not count on getting money back after you have generated videos. Test on the free trial first. Our own trial account showed 30 credits rather than a 3-video cap, and a 15-second slot cost 4 of them, so check what your account shows at signup.

Who should use CreateUGC

  • Use it if you dropship through AutoDS, or you want the lowest cost per video in this category and mostly need product-in-hand and reaction ads.
  • Skip it if you want longer clips from the newest engines (the Veo 3 version is fixed at 8 seconds and Kling at 5 or 10), or you want a free plan with no card on file.
