What each Arcads plan leaves out
- Starter: no captions and no background removal, per Wireflow’s plan comparison. Most paid social ads need captions, so many buyers end up on Creator.
- Creator: adds captions and background removal. No API.

How Arcads credits work
Every action spends credits at its own rate. Here’s what 2026 breakdowns report:

Two things push the real cost up. Length rounds up, so a 15-second ad costs the same as a 60-second one. And small edits mean a full regeneration, which spends the credits again. Testing four hooks to find one winner means paying for four videos, not one.
Does Arcads have a free trial?
Several 2026 guides say Arcads has no trial. Arcads’ own help center says otherwise: it describes a 3-day trial that charges your saved card for the Starter plan automatically if you don’t cancel from Billing settings before the 72 hours end. One reviewer on Trustpilot in September 2026 said the trial came with 1,000 credits, which ran out after two short 10-second videos. If you try it, set a reminder to cancel.
Is the Arcads annual plan cheaper?
Not while the monthly discount is running. Wireflow reports annual billing at 20% off list ($88 a month for Starter, paid upfront), while the monthly discount is 30% off ($77 a month, no lock-in). That makes monthly the better deal by about $132 a year on Starter.
Arcads refund rules
- Zero credits used that billing period: full refund if you ask within 30 days of the charge.
- Changed your mind: full refund within 24 hours of your first charge if no credits were used, once per account.
- Used any credits: no cash refund for that billing period.
- Didn’t like the output: not refundable. Credits come back only for failed generations caused by a platform error.
- Cancelling or downgrading: unused credits are not refunded or carried forward, per Arcads’ terms.

Does Arcads have an API?
Pro per 2026 plan breakdowns, with one caveat. Arcads’ current terms say the API is only accessible to a client who subscribes to a Customized offer, so Pro is the likely floor and not a guarantee. Starter and Creator have no programmatic access, so automating Arcads means starting at $385 a month with the discount, or $550 at list, and expecting a call about a custom plan. The MCP is a separate thing from the API. Arcads’ help center says every plan includes the MCP server at mcp.arcads.ai, including the 72-hour free trial, and it spends credits at the same rate as the app.
Is Arcads worth the price?
