Higgsfield Alternatives (2026): 6 Options Compared by Price and Fit

Affiliate disclosure: This page includes affiliate links, including ones to Higgsfield and Arcads. If you subscribe through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details. We pay for our own Higgsfield Ultra plan. We have not run hands-on tests of the alternatives below; their prices come from each vendor’s pricing page or, where noted, from published 2026 comparisons, checked on October 7, 2026.

The best Higgsfield alternative depends on why you’re leaving: Runway ($12 a month billed yearly) is the closest all-in-one swap, Kling direct ($6.60 a month billed yearly) is the cheapest way to get Kling 3.0, Midjourney ($30 a month) is the pick for unlimited images, and Hailuo Max is the only one that sells unlimited video at the top tier.

Higgsfield’s pitch is many video and image models under one bill, plus a 365-day unlimited image set on Plus and Ultra. That used to be rare. In October 2026 it isn’t: Runway and Luma both now sell third-party models like Kling 3.0 and Seedance from their own credit pools. What separates them now is which models you get and whether anything is unlimited.

1. Runway: the closest all-in-one alternative

Runway is the most direct swap for Higgsfield. Runway says every paid plan gets access to all of its video and image models, and its pricing page shows that catalog includes its own Gen-4.5 plus Kling 3.0, Seedance and Nano Banana Pro. Prices on Runway’s pricing page on October 7, 2026:

  • Free: 125 one-time credits.
  • Standard: $12 a month billed yearly, $15 monthly, 625 credits a month.
  • Pro: $28 billed yearly, $35 monthly, 2,250 credits.
  • Max: $76 billed yearly, $95 monthly, 9,500 credits, and unused credits roll over for one month.

Gen-4.5 costs 60 credits per 5-second clip, so Standard covers about ten of those a month. The catch is that Runway no longer sells unlimited generation. Its Unlimited plan closed to new subscribers on June 1, 2026, per Higgsfield’s September comparison, and Runway’s current pricing page lists no unlimited tier. If you liked Higgsfield’s credit-free image set, Runway won’t replace it.

2. Kling direct: the cheapest way to get Kling 3.0

A lot of Higgsfield video runs on Kling. If that’s most of what you make, buying from Kling itself is the low-cost route. Per Higgsfield’s comparison and 2026 pricing guides, Kling’s yearly plans are Standard at $79.20 a year (660 credits a month), Pro at $293.04 (3,000 credits), Premier at $728.64 (8,000) and Ultra at $1,429.99 (26,000). Monthly billing costs about a third more after an intro discount on the first month.

What you give up: one model family instead of dozens, no unlimited mode, and credits that expire at the end of each billing cycle.

3. Luma: per-second pricing across many models

Luma has become a multi-model platform too. Its pricing page lists its own Ray3.2 and Ray3.14 models next to Seedance 2.0 and 2.5, Kling 3.0, Veo 3.1 and MiniMax H3, all billed from one credit pool. Plans on October 7, 2026: Plus $30 a month ($25 billed yearly, 10,000 credits), Pro $90 ($75 yearly, 40,000 credits) and Ultra $300 ($250 yearly, 150,000 credits). We didn’t see a free plan listed.

Every cost is published to the second, which helps with budgeting. Premium models eat credits fast, though: Veo 3.1 with audio is 280 credits per second, so a single 8-second clip uses 2,240 of a Plus plan’s 10,000.

4. Hailuo: unlimited video at the top tier

Hailuo, from MiniMax, is the only option here that sells unlimited video generation. According to Higgsfield’s September 2026 comparison, the Max plan ($184 a month billed yearly) includes unlimited Hailuo 1.0, 2.0 and 2.3 video in a queue, for personal use. Pro ($30.40 yearly) and Master ($71.20 yearly) get a year of unlimited images when bought during a promotion. MiniMax’s newest model, H3, stays on credits. We haven’t confirmed these terms on Hailuo’s own site, so check its pricing page before you buy.

5. Midjourney: the pick for unlimited images

If you used Higgsfield mainly for images, Midjourney’s Relax mode is the simplest unlimited deal around. It has no end date. From Midjourney’s plan docs on October 7, 2026: Basic $10 a month (no Relax), Standard $30 (unlimited images in Relax), Pro $60 and Mega $120 (unlimited images and SD video in Relax). Yearly billing takes 20% off. You only get Midjourney’s own models, but new versions join Relax when they launch.

6. Arcads: if you only make UGC-style ads

Some people come to Higgsfield for its Marketing Studio and AI influencer tools. If talking-actor ads are the whole job, a focused tool can be simpler. Arcads runs $77, $154 or $385 a month with its current 30% discount (see our Arcads pricing breakdown). What one clip costs: a rough comparison

Credits aren’t comparable across platforms, so here’s the dollar math for one 5-second Kling 3.0 clip at 1080p, using published rates:

  • Higgsfield: about 8 credits. On our Ultra annual plan ($99 a month for 3,000 credits, about 3.3 cents a credit), that’s roughly 26 cents.
  • Luma Plus, monthly: 40 credits a second without audio, so 200 credits. At $30 for 10,000 credits (0.3 cents each), that’s about 60 cents.

This assumes you use every credit you pay for, and settings like audio may not match exactly between platforms. Still, for Kling-heavy work, Higgsfield held up well on price.

Should you switch from Higgsfield?

  • Switch to Runway if you want a polished editor and one model catalog and don’t need unlimited.
  • Switch to Kling direct if nearly all your clips are Kling and you want the lowest bill.
  • Switch to Midjourney if images are most of your work.
  • Look at Hailuo Max if you need truly unlimited video and older models are good enough.
  • Stay on Higgsfield if you use several models a week and the 365-day image set. That’s why we’re still on it.

Our Higgsfield pricing page breaks down every plan and credit cost if you’re weighing an upgrade instead of a switch.
